Abstract

EDITORIAL COMMENT
We are delighted to welcome you to the maiden edition of Western Delta University Law Journal. The objective and scope of the Journal is aimed at promoting robust intellectual scholarly debates and theorizing research on contemporary legal and allied issues in the gamut of law.
The Editorial Board of this Journal welcomes well researched articles, papers, statutes and book reviews in any area of Law and allied issues for publication in the Journal. All submissions are required to comply with the following guidelines:
1) Papers should be original and not have been submitted or published elsewhere.
2) Papers must be written in English Language, typed and double spaced on A4 sized paper, using Microsoft office word, Times New Roman style and in 12 font size.
3) Footnotes should also be in Times New Roman style, 10 font size and must be placed seriatim at the bottom of each page.
4) Papers must have cover page, stating names, titles, institutional affiliations, qualifications, email address and telephone number of the author(s).
5) Papers should contain an Abstract, not exceeding 250 words, an introduction and Conclusion.
6) Papers will be peer reviewed. The Editorial Board reserves the right to publish any paper submitted for publication.
7) Papers can be electronically submitted to wdulawjournal@gmail.com.
Our appreciation goes to the Vice Chancellor Prof Augustine Ikelegbe and his dynamic management team for moral and financial support given to the College for publication of this maiden edition. We also appreciate the assistance and cooperation of the external assessors, who took time out of their tight schedules to vet and edit the Journal. On a final note, we also express our gratitude to all the Contributors and members of the Editorial Board, whose effort made the publication of this Journal a reality.
